Scope: This standard specifies the requirements for energy metering and monitoring methods for heat supply and other parameters in solar water heating systems. This standard applies to solar water heating systems with an effective volume of a single water storage tank greater than 0.6 m³, and the heat transfer medium is liquid during normal operation. Not suitable for hot water systems consisting of multiple compact solar water heaters.
