- This standard specifies the general provis ons, preparation stages, ris identification, analysis of influencing factors, divis on of evaluation units, ris calculation, ris tolerance, and protective measures for lightning protection safety evaluation in explosion and fire hazardous environments. This standard is applicable to the lightning protection safety evaluation of new construction, expansion and reconstruction projects where explosion and fire hazard environments occur or may occur during production, processing, handling, transfer or storage. This standard does not apply to the lightning protection safety evaluation of underground mines, water, land and air transportation vehicles and offshore oil well platforms.
