- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of L(+) sodium lactate. This standard applies to L(+) lactic acid produced by fermentation of starch and sugar as raw materials, and L(+) sodium lactate for industrial use synthesized with sodium hydroxide or sodium carbonate.
