Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for spark plug porcelain insulators (hereinafter referred to as porcelain insulators). This standard applies to porcelain insulators for spark plugs used in electric spark ignition systems of internal combustion engines.
