Scope
This standard specifies test methods for the reliability of power units used in light hybrid electric vehicles (is type). This standard applies to power units for M-type, N-type and M-type hybrid electric vehicles (is type) with a maximum design total mass not exceeding 3.5t. This standard does not apply to the assessment of idle start-stop function.
