Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of tension and compression fatigue testing machines. This standard applies to electronic measurement and force-controlled tension and compression fatigue testing machines (hereinafter referred to as testing machines) for material fatigue testing with a maximum cyclic force of ±1 000kN and a frequency not exceeding 400 Hz. This standard also applies to testing machines used in special test conditions (such as high and low temperatures, corrosive media) and with accessory devices (such as program control devices), but this standard does not specify these special conditions and accessory devices.
