Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of closed cooling towers for refrigeration (hereinafter referred to as "cooling towers"). This standard applies to closed cooling towers for refrigeration with design pressures less than or equal to 2.5 MPa.
