Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, main structural forms and parameters, technical requirements, test methods, installation requirements, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of small vertical axis wind turbines (abbreviated as vertical axis wind turbines). This standard applies to vertical-axis wind turbines with a rotor sweep area less than 200m² and an output voltage AC less than 1000V or DC less than 1500V.
