This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and contract (or order) content of tantalum pentoxide. This standard applies to tantalum pentoxide produced by liquid-liquid extraction method for the production of tantalum powder, tantalum strips and tantalum carbide.
