- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of paper and cardboard air permeability testers. This standard applies to the Schauer type air permeability tester (hereinafter referred to as the "air permeability meter") designed based on the principle of the Schauer test method and used for the air permeability test of paper and cardboard in the medium to medium air permeability range. The periodic calibration of the air permeability meter should also be used with reference.
