Scope
The strong acids and alkalis used in this standard are corrosive, so avoid inhalation or skin contact when using them. If it splashes on your body, wash it immediately with plenty of water. This standard specifies the method for the determination of silicates (measured as SiO2) in scale and corrosion products in industrial circulating cooling water.
