Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage and order form (or contract) content of metallurgical grade alumina. This standard applies to alumina used in the production of metallic aluminum by molten salt electrolysis, that is, metallurgical grade alumina.
