This standard specifies the overall dimensions and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage, transportation and quality certificates of large-size graphite electrodes for submerged arc furnaces. This standard applies to graphite electrodes made from high-quality petroleum coke as the main raw material through calcination, molding, roasting, graphitization, and mechanical processing, and used as conductive materials for submerged arc furnaces such as metallic silicon, yellow phosphorus, ferroalloy, calcium carbide, and corundum. .
