Scope

This part of GB 20840 is applicable to newly manufactured line-to-earth single-phase capacitive voltage transformers, the highest voltage U_m≥72.5 kV, and the frequency is 15 Hz~100 Hz. They provide low voltage for measurement, control and protective relaying. Capacitive voltage transformers can be loaded with wave accessories for power line carrier (PLC) systems with a carrier frequency of 30 kHz to 500 kHz. The basic requirements for coupling capacitors and capacitive voltage dividers are in accordance with GB/T 19749. The transmission requirements of power line carrier (PLC) combined equipment are in accordance with GB/T 7329. Measurement functions include indication measurement and billing measurement.
