- Scope
- This standard applies to: a) Coupling capacitors for power line carrier (PLC) systems of high-voltage overhead lines with an industrial frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz and a carrier frequency of 30kHz to 500kHz, b) Capacitive voltage dividers for capacitive voltage transformers. Supplementary requirements for capacitive voltage transformers are given in GB/T 4703; c) Capacitors for overvoltage protection and other similar purposes with one terminal permanently grounded or at low voltage.
