Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of bicycle pedals (hereinafter referred to as "pedals"). This standard applies to pedals used on general-purpose bicycles (including power-assis ed bicycles) specified in QB 1714 "Bicycle Naming and Model Preparation Methods".
