Scope: This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of austenitic stainless steel self-pressurized liquid nitrogen containers (hereinafter referred to as self-pressurized containers). This standard applies to the design and manufacture of self-pressurized containers with liquid nitrogen as the storage and transportation medium, working pressure less than 0.1MPa, effective volume of 50L to 800L, and high-vacuum multi-layer insulation. This standard does not apply to self-pressurizing containers in the following ranges: ——storage of liquid nitrogen under pressure; ——storage of other low-temperature liquids such as liquid oxygen.
