Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and other requirements of aluminum and aluminum alloy liquid nitrogen biological containers (hereinafter referred to as containers). This standard applies to the storage of liquid nitrogen at atmospheric pressure, with an effective volume of 1L to 175L and a caliber of 30mm to 216mm, using high-vacuum multi-layer insulation containers. This standard does not apply to containers in the following ranges: - storage of liquid nitrogen under pressure; - storage of liquid oxygen and other cryogenic liquids.
