Scope

This standard specifies a test method for measuring the shear strength of the bond between anticorrosive coatings and metal. This standard is applicable to the determination of the shear strength of the bond between anticorrosive coatings and metal by testing single-sided lap joint standard specimens under specified specimen preparation and test conditions.
