Scope: This standard specifies the infrared thermography detection method for the surface temperature distribution of mechanical equipment and electrical equipment during operation, with the purpose of discovering abnormal temperature of the mechanical equipment or electrical equipment under inspection. This standard does not establish an evaluation basis, and the specific criteria shall be determined through negotiation between the testing party and the user. This standard does not fully address the safety requirements when performing testing, and it is the responsibility of all parties using this standard to establish appropriate safety and health guidelines prior to testing.
