Scope: 1.1 This section is formulated in order to improve the recycling level of wastewater from steel enterprises. 1.2 This section applies to membrane desalination in steel sewage treatment. All requirements specified in this section are general and applicable to steel sewage desalination systems with different treatment processes and different scales. Other industries can also refer to the implementation. 1.3 In addition to complying with this section, steel sewage desalination should also comply with the relevant national regulations and standards. 1.4 The process route varies according to the quality of sewage. Among them, the reverse osmosis process is essential, and the remaining processes vary depending on the specific water quality and process configuration, and are optional or replaceable processes. 1.5 When the salt content of steel sewage is between 1000mg/L and 2000mg/L, it is recommended to use this method for desalination. If a process step is deleted, it shall be limited to the requirements of Section 5.2 of this part, and such deletion shall not affect the ability or responsibility of the steel sewage treatment membrane desalination system to provide products that meet customer requirements and applicable laws and regulations.
