Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions of special-shaped polyester pre-oriented yarn, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements. This standard is applicable to polyester pre-oriented yarns with a total density of 30 dtex to 1 000 dtex, special-shaped cross-sections (leaf-shaped, flat, hollow, cross), natural color, glossy and semi-matte special-shaped polyester pre-oriented yarns. Other types of special-shaped polyester pre-oriented yarns can be referred to use.
