Scope: This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of bicycle caliper brakes for braking rims (hereinafter referred to as "clamp brakes"). This standard applies to clamp brakes used on general-purpose bicycles (including electric bicycles) specified in QB 1714.
