Scope
This standard applies to flat quick-connect terminals, which consist of a tab in a matching socket, and are used as built-in parts or integral parts of equipment or components, or as independent units, used to press According to the manufacturer's instructions, the nominal width of the plug for connecting copper wires is 2.8mm, 4.8mm, 6.3mm or 9.5mm (0.110in, 0.187in, 0.250in or 0.375in). The copper wire connected to it can be a soft wire or a hard stranded wire with a cross-sectional area not exceeding 6mm2 (AWG wire gauge number not less than 10), or a cross-sectional area not exceeding 2.5mm<上Hard single-core wire marked 2> (AWG wire gauge number not less than 14). These terminals shall have a rated voltage not exceeding 1000 V ac and a frequency not exceeding 1000 Hz, or a rated voltage not exceeding 1500 V dc; the temperature limits shall be as specified for materials used within the scope of this standard. Requirements for insulating tabs and sockets are under consideration.
