- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, form and basic parameters, requirements, inspection methods, signs and packaging of the indicator table. This standard is applicable to indicators with a division value of 0.10 mm and 0.01 mm and a range of no more than 100 mm; a division value of 0.002 mm and a range of no more than 10 mm; a division value of 0.001 mm and a range of no more than 5 mm. Note: An indicator with a division value of 0.10mm is also called a ten-point indicator; an indicator with a division value of 0.01mm is also called a dial indicator; an indicator with a division value of 0.001mm and 0.002 mm is also called a ten-point indicator. for dial gauge
