Scope

This standard specifies the infrared spectroscopic method for determining the aromatic carbon content of mineral insulating oils with a relative molecular mass ranging from 290 to 500 and an aromatic carbon content ranging from 2% to 35%. This standard applies to the determination of aromatic carbon content in mineral insulating oil.
