Scope: This standard specifies the general requirements and test methods for low-temperature testing of high-pressure cold helium valves. This standard is applicable to the low-temperature performance and low-temperature vibration test of cold helium valves where the maximum test pressure is not greater than 35MPa and the temperature is in the liquid hydrogen temperature zone or liquid nitrogen temperature zone. The test medium is low-temperature helium gas (liquid hydrogen or liquid nitrogen temperature zone). Tests on other low-temperature gas media can be conducted with reference to this standard.
