Important note: The strong acids and alkalis used in this standard are corrosive, so care should be taken when using them. If splashed on body, rinse with plenty of water. This standard specifies the method for measuring the carbon dioxide content in dirt and corrosion products with carbonate as the main component in circulating cooling water systems. The carbonate content in dirt and corrosion products can be calculated based on the carbon dioxide content. Measuring range is 0.1%~40%. This standard is applicable to the determination of carbon dioxide content in fouling and corrosion products in circulating cooling water systems.
