Scope
Warning: Phenolic compounds are toxic substances. The sample preparation process should be performed in a fume hood. Operators should avoid direct contact with skin and clothing. This standard specifies a high-performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of phenolic compounds in ambient air. This standard is applicable to the determination of 12 phenolic compounds in ambient air (see Appendix A for specific measurement components). This standard is not applicable to the determination of phenolic compounds in particulate matter. When the sampling volume is 25 L, the detection limit of this method is 0.006~0.039 mg/m, and the lower limit of determination is 0.024~0.156 mg/m; when the sampling volume is 75 L, the detection limit of this method is 0.002~0.013 mg/m. m, the lower limit of determination is 0.008~0.052 mg/m. See Appendix A for details.
