Scope: This standard specifies the activity concentration of radionuclides in materials that can be exempted from radiation protection supervision (hereinafter referred to as the exempt concentration). This standard applies to the production operations, trade, landfill or recycling of materials in large quantities (greater than 1 ton), but does not apply to the following situations: - food, drinking water, animal feed and any food or animal feed Substances; - Radon in the air (see GB 18871-2002 Appendix H for optimal action levels of radon concentration in the air); - Materials in transport (managed in accordance with transport standards); - Liquid and airborne substances produced by approved practices Effluents (which fall within the scope of approved discharges); - radioactive residues in the environment (including site soil).
