- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage of range hoods. This standard applies to range hoods in domestic kitchen environments. This standard does not apply to: - range hoods installed for industrial and commercial purposes; - range hoods installed in special places, such as where corrosive or explosive gases (dust, steam or gas) exist.
