- This standard specifies the test samples, instruments and reagents, test procedures, result calculations and test reports for the determination of the insoluble content of fiber reinforced plastic resins (also known as the degree of curing) by the extraction method. This standard is applicable to fiber reinforcements with glass fiber, carbon fiber and aramid fiber as reinforcement materials and epoxy, polyester and phenolic resin as matrix.
