This standard specifies two methods for determining the organic chlorine content of crude oil. Includes Method A - Sodium Biphenyl Reduction Potential Titration and Method B - Combustion Oxidation Microcoulometry. This standard applies to the determination of crude oil with an organic chlorine content greater than 1 μg/g. Among them, method B is not applicable to crude oil with total sulfur content greater than 10,000 times the organic chlorine content.
