Scope
This part of GB/T 2828 specifies the general skip sampling procedure for counting acceptance inspection. The purpose of these procedures is to provide a way to reduce the amount of inspection for high-quality products submitted by suppliers with satisfactory quality assurance systems and effective quality control. Inspection volume is reduced by randomly determining, with a specified probability, whether a lot submitted for inspection can be accepted without inspection. These procedures extend the principles of random selection of sample units that have been used in GB/T 2828.1 to random selection of batches. The skip batch sampling procedures specified in this part of GB/T 2828 are applicable to (but not limited to) the following inspections: ——final products, such as complete machines or components; ——components and raw materials; ——work in progress.
