Scope
This specification is formulated to prevent water pollution caused by chemical industrial sewage discharge, improve and protect the water environment, save water resources, and make the design of chemical sewage treatment and reuse projects safe, reliable, economical and reasonable, and easy to manage. This code is applicable to the design of new construction, reconstruction and expansion of chemical sewage treatment and reuse projects. The chemical sewage treatment and reuse project should be designed, constructed and put into operation at the same time as the chemical engineering project. The design of chemical wastewater treatment and reuse projects should be based on continuous summarization of production practice experience and scientific experiments, combined with project conditions, and under the premise of safety and reliability, actively and cautiously adopt new processes, new materials, and new equipment. When there is no mature experience in chemical sewage treatment and reuse treatment processes, the treatment process and design parameters should be determined through experiments. The design of chemical sewage treatment and reuse projects should implement the principles of energy saving, water saving and emission reduction, and the recyclable substances in sewage should be recycled when the technology and economy are reasonable. Sewage treatment and reuse projects should adopt graded treatment and quality-based treatment according to project scale and water quality characteristics. When the sewage is treated in stages, the pretreatment process should be determined according to the characteristics of the pollutants and the control requirements, and the pretreatment facilities should be set up in different areas and in a centralized manner. Sewage reuse should be based on the use of the enterprise or chemical industry zone, and should be used as supplementary water for industrial circulating cooling water and miscellaneous water. For structures that store and process sewage containing volatile toxic, flammable, and odorous gases, harmful gases should be collected and disposed of properly. The design of chemical wastewater treatment and reuse projects should not only comply with this specification, but also comply with the current relevant national standards.
