Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of polymerized triglyceride content in animal and vegetable oils and fats by high performance size exclusion chromatography. The applicable range of content is not less than 3% (calculated by peak area). This standard applies to frying oil, oil after heat treatment, and can also be used for the determination of polymers in animal feed fat.
