Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, inspection reports, packaging, marking and delivery acceptance rules of elastomer (SBS) modified bitumen for waterproofing. This standard applies to modified asphalt used for waterproofing membranes and coatings made of styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) thermoplastic elastomers as modifiers. This standard does not apply to other modified asphalt.
