Scope

This standard specifies the classification and labeling, raw materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, storage and transportation of elastomer-modified asphalt waterproofing membranes (SBS waterproofing membranes for short). This standard is applicable to polyester felt and glass fiber reinforced polyester felt as base, styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) thermoplastic elastomer as petroleum asphalt modifier, both sides covered with isolation materials waterproof membrane.
