Scope: This standard specifies the corrosion test methods for metals and alloys, metals and alloys with metallic or non-metallic non-organic coatings for outdoor exposure of bimetallic materials. This standard is applicable to determine the type and degree of corrosion caused by the contact of different metals (covered metals) in the natural atmosphere, and to evaluate the protection measures for bimetallic corrosion.
