Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements for the discharge of radioactive liquid effluents from nuclear power plants. This standard applies to the design and operation of the radioactive liquid effluent discharge system of light water reactor and heavy water reactor nuclear power plants and the management of the discharge of radioactive liquid effluent. Other types of nuclear power plants and nuclear reactor facilities can be adopted by reference.
