Scope: This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of polyurethane synthetic leather used in shoes. This standard applies to synthetic leather used for footwear linings, which is based on a non-woven fabric base or a woven fabric base and is manufactured by dry or wet polyurethane coating processes.
