Scope

This part of GB/T 24818 specifies the technical requirements for steps, stairs, ladders, walkways, platforms, handrails, handles, guardrails, access to and from the driver's cab, inspection or maintenance platforms on mobile cranes. At the same time, the requirements for safety protection facilities are also put forward. This part also maintains coordination with GB/T 17299 and GB/T 17300. The mobile crane equipped with the tower body should also consider the coordination with GB/T 24818.3. This section applies to mobile cranes defined in GB/T 6974.2.
