Scope: This standard specifies the measurement method for flat electromagnetic shielding coatings for plane electromagnetic wave shielding effectiveness. This standard specifies the following items: test equipment; test samples; measurement methods; measurement procedures. This standard is applicable to the measurement of the shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding coatings on plane electromagnetic waves, and also to the measurement of the shielding effectiveness of flat materials such as coatings, coatings and conductive films that have electromagnetic shielding effects. The test methods specified in this standard are not applicable to cables or connectors. The purpose of this standard is to develop a common and repeatable basic measurement method to evaluate the shielding effectiveness of flat-panel electromagnetic shielding coatings.
