- This part of GB/T 25361 specifies the basic dimensional characteristics of piston pins with an outer diameter of 8 mm to 100 mm for reciprocating internal combustion engines. In addition, this part specifies piston pin terms and definitions, classification, material specifications based on mechanical properties, general characteristics and quality requirements. This section is also applicable to piston pins of compressors operating under similar conditions. For piston pins used for other purposes than road vehicles, this part of GB/T 25361 can also be used after making appropriate modifications as long as the manufacturer and the customer agree.
