Scope

This part of GB/T 14506 specifies the method for the determination of potassium oxide and sodium oxide in silicate rocks. This section applies to the determination of potassium oxide and sodium oxide in silicate rocks, and also applies to the determination of potassium oxide and sodium oxide in soil and water system sediments. Measuring range: flame photometry, 0.5%-20% of potassium oxide or sodium oxide. Flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry, 0.05%-8% potassium oxide or sodium oxide amount.
