Scope

This standard specifies symbols and units, benchmarks, systems, heat balance diagrams, records, test items and methods, material balance calculations, heat balance calculations and thermal efficiency calculation methods for glass fiber unit kiln heat balance and thermal efficiency measurement and calculation. This standard applies to glass fiber unit kilns that use liquid fuel, gas fuel and electric energy as heat sources.
