Scope: This standard stipulates the energy efficiency limit value, energy saving evaluation value, energy efficiency level judgment method, test method and inspection rules of room air conditioners. This standard applies to air conditioners (hereinafter referred to as: air conditioners) that use air-cooled condensers, fully enclosed motor-compressors, cooling capacity of 14,000W or less, and climate type T1. This standard does not apply to mobile, frequency conversion, and multi-connected air-conditioning units.
