Scope
This syllabus is applicable to the type evaluation of single or three-phase electrical active energy meters (hereinafter referred to as meters) with a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. This syllabus does not apply to the data interfaces of electromechanical instruments, portable instruments and meter counters with terminal voltages exceeding 600 V (line-to-line voltage for polyphase instruments). For rack-mounted instruments, this section does not cover their mechanical properties.
