Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the dissolution of lead and cadmium in daily ceramic products for import and export using atomic absorption spectrophotometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of lead and cadmium dissolution of imported and exported daily ceramic products (including the contact surface between daily ceramic products and food and the glaze at the lip of beverage containers).
