Scope

This procedure applies to the initial calibration, subsequent calibration and in-use inspection of sharp line light sources and atomic absorption spectrophotometers (hereinafter referred to as instruments). Measurement performance tests related to the type evaluation of the instrument may be conducted with reference to this procedure.
